Our client in Banking & Finance industry is seeking a Bilingual Loan Collector in Mississauga. This is a 6 months contract position.
 
Job Description
 
GROUP INFO: Handles inbound, outbound calls – using dialing system. Call center environment, collecting on any delinquent accounts, including: car loans, master cards, mortgage, etc…
 
CULTURE: Call Center environment. Metrics-based, Team-based, where everyone works together, and supports each other with any questions or help needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
The Investigation skip trace team is primarily responsible for locating delinquent customers through dialer programs, internal and external skip trace programs. They can also make payment arrangement directly with customers and help other team members when
 
TOP SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
• 1-2 years’ experience within customer service role/call centre
• Bilingual Reading, Writing
• Excel skills – must be proficient (reading/manipulating excel sheets – no design required)
• In addition to bilingualism, this individual is required to have perfect command of the English Language – reading, writing, verbal
• Ability to analyze information
 
SOFT SKILLS / NICE TO HAVE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• Think outside the box
• Attention to detail
• Resource oriented
• Banking experience
• Understanding knowledge of banking products (i.e. mortgages, credit cards, etc)
 
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
• High-School minimum + required 1-2 years’ of customer service experience.
