Our client in Telco industry is seeking a Accounts Receivable Administrator in Vancouver. This is a 4 months contract position.
 
Job Description
Responsibilities:
•             Prepare bank deposits
•             Enter cash receipts into WideOrbit and IBMS
•             Code and prepare daily cash receipt JESS entries
•             Process regional credit card payments
•             Process AR adjustments
•             Process local manual invoicing/proforma requests
•             Maintain Contra records for BC
•             Act as primary liaison with clients for invoicing, collections and general billing support
•             Liaise with sales department on client accounts and billing related matters
•             Print/Mail/Email invoices and statements
•             Vacation coverage for AR team members
•             Work closely with the Manager Credit/Accounts Receivable to support ongoing departmental initiatives, and handle ad hoc requests as required
Critical Qualifications:
•             Must be an independent self-starter and a team player
•             Must be comfortable dealing with diverse personalities in a team-centered environment
•             Prior Accounts Receivable and/or accounting experience
•             Excellent organizational skills
•             Ability to take initiative and problem solve when information is not readily available
•             Ability to work well under pressure in a highly transactional environment
•             Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to articulate views convincingly
•             Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail
•             Proficient with standard Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
•             Working knowledge of SAP, IBMS & Wide-Orbit
•             At least 2 years of prior Accounts Receivable and/or Accounting experience is preferred
•             Post secondary education in a certificate, diploma or degree program
