As a member of Manufacturing Engineering, you will contribute to the team’s success by supporting manufacturing operations, to ensure optimal mechanical performance of the high-speed automated assembly lines and production yields.  To do this, you will be involved with:
The identification, development and implementation of process improvement initiatives,
Investigations into product and process problems, perform root cause analysis, implement changes, and develop documentation and reactions schemes, and
Investigations into non-conformances (NCRs) and documentation of findings and Corrective Actions in Quality Reports (QRs).
The maintenance of Production and Process Controls in compliance with FDA, ISO and other regulations.
You will be supporting various assembly processes and equipment.  There will be a mixture of process sustaining and project work, along with supporting the quality system.
 
 
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:

A Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering, Science or equivalent)
Zero to three years of experience in an automated manufacturing environment with high-speed automated machinery,
Working knowledge of statistics, process control methods, data analysis, Lean Manufacturing, and statistical techniques,
Proven technical, creative, and implementation skills to contribute to process reliability and product manufacturability/performance,
Strong interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills are mandatory.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills,
Proficiency with MS Office
 
 
FAMILIARITY WITH ANY OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS WOULD BE AN ASSET: 

Automated assembly processes, machine vision, seal and adhesion technology, product packaging, injection molded components, experimental design and statistical process control, ISO/FDA regulations, risk management/FMEA methods, root cause analysis (6M’s/ 5 Why’s), Solidworks and statistical software packages such as Minitab and SAS JMP.
