Position Overview:

Work with internal Medical employees including the Contracts Manager to collaborate on the entire contract/RFP process. Primarily working independently to provide financial and business analytical support related to pricing and contract/RFPs.


*Contract Administration
*Contributes to the compilation of contract and RFP responses from standard and customer templates ensuring all information and requirements relating to contract are complete, accurate, appropriate and
on time (pricing, terms)
*In collaboration with marketing, enters list pricing information in SAP
*Maintaining contracts database/calendar to include expiration and renewals. Notify field personnel of
pending expirations on a timely basis to ensure pricing management.
*Maintaining the quote log.
*Dealing with unresolved issues, delays and unexpected events, while effectively communicating and
maintaining rapport with marketing, sales and management
*Solves moderate problems, exercising sound judgement to make recommendations based on
analysis of multiple sources of information
*Providing regular sales reports as per contract requirements.
*Perform other administrative and compliance related duties as required RFPs
*Searching for Request for Proposal (RFPs)
*Notifying Contracts Manager about potential RFPs
*Maintaining the RFP win/loss tracker.
*Provide support for profitability analysis to assess the value of proposals
*Compilation of final submission with product literature for customer under the guidance of the Contracts Manager

Required Skills & Abilities:

-SAP knowledge an asset
-High level of computer skills – Microsoft with emphasis      
 on Word and Excel
-Demonstrated knowledge of the practices and procedure of the contract management, provincial healthcare bidding requirements
-Knowledge of the Canadian Healthcare landscape an asset.
-Demonstrated analytical ability
-Accounting/Book keeping skills an asset, ability to understand financials (discounts, rebates, pricing)
-Demonstrated organizational skills
-Very high attention to detail
-Ability to work under general supervision and within tight deadlines
-Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to listen and resolve moderately complex problems.

Required Education and Experience:
-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
-Three to five years related work experience, such as   business/financial/analytical experience.
-Bilingual French/English
-Paralegal experience an asset
This role can be done in two locations:
1. Mississauga Office (Credit View Rd) – Currently the role is fully remote. Once Covid restrictions are lifted It would be remote 4 Days a week and 1 day in office (With the option of more days in office if preferred)
2. Montreal Area – office in St Laurent – Remote but again required to go to the office on a monthly basis. The employee could also choose to visit the Mississauga office if they prefer.
Travel will be accommodated.
