Our client in Banking & Finance industry is seeking a Bilingual (English and French) Project Manager-Sr in Montreal. This is a 12 months contract position.
 
Possibility of contract extension and/ or conversion to full time.
Job Description
ENGLISH
In the context of implementing an integrated “SAP accounting” solution, being able to establish and provide direction to the IT program management office. Define and develop best practices, processes and policies for IT program / project management to ensure compliance with organizational strategy and objectives. Work in collaboration with the leaders of several departments as well as other stakeholders in order to find opportunities and to deepen and prioritize projects according to relevant evaluation criteria. Supervise project / program managers to ensure that all IT program projects are delivered within scope, quality, timeline and cost requirements. Direct corrective actions in all areas where performance does not meet targets. Reorganize the allocation of responsibilities for other support facilities, business lines and support functions, and monitor their performance.
Governance of a SAP development team (Approx 25 people) and monitoring of different integration points outside the project (more than 40 integration points)
The candidate will be paired with a project management team already in place on a project including a total of more than 80 people.

Defines and develops IT project / program management best practices, processes, and policy to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and goals. Partners with multi-departmental leadership and other stakeholders to locate opportunities and develop and prioritize projects according to relevant measurement criteria. Responsible for the supervision of project / program managers to ensure that all projects the within IT programs are delivered within the defined scope, quality, time and cost requirements. Direct corrective actions in any area where performance falls below objectives. Arranges for the assignment of responsibility to other supporting facilities, business areas, and support functions, and monitors their performance.

Dans un contexte d’implantation d’une solution intégré “SAP comptable” être en mesure d’établir et fournir une direction au bureau de gestion du programme TI . Définir et élaborer de meilleures pratiques, des processus et des politiques de gestion de programme/projet TI afin d’assurer la conformité avec la stratégie et les objectifs organisationnels. Travailler en collaboration avec les leaders de plusieurs services ainsi que d’autre parties prenantes afin de trouver les occasions et d’approfondir et de prioriser des projets selon des critères pertinents d’évaluation. Superviser les gestionnaires de projet/programme afin de s’assurer que tous les projets des programmes TI sont livrés en respectant les exigences en matière de portée, de qualité, d’échéance et de coût. Diriger les mesures correctives dans tous les secteurs où le rendement n’atteint pas les objectifs. Réorganiser l’attribution de responsabilités pour les autres installations de soutien, secteurs d’activités et fonctions de soutien, et surveiller leur rendement.
