Our client in Banking & Finance industry is seeking a Bilingual (English and French) Systems Administrator Senior in Montreal. This is a 6 months contract position.

Under general direction, responsible for all activities related to system administration. Ensures long term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization. Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration and integrity of computer software. Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system. 5 to 10 years of experience
 
Requirement: We are looking for a resource to collaborate with our vulnerability management team at the Bank. This team reports to the Director, Integration of IT Infrastructure Services.
The candidate will be mandated to deliver various infrastructure technology projects related to security (vulnerabilities and fixes). It will need to find innovative ways to address the vulnerabilities found and to automate them. In addition, he will have to make sure to test and deploy these on the various environments of the Bank (Dev, Pre-Prod and Prod) while respecting the changes in force.
 
Expertise:
• Bachelor of Technology with more than eight (8) years of relevant experience
• Advanced experience in Windows technology (2003 to 2012 R2)
• Advanced experience in Red Hat technology
• Advanced experience in scripting (Powershell, Ansible, Terraform)
• Advanced Security Experience (OS – Windows / Red Hat)
• Experience in monitoring and monitoring desirable
• Desirable Virtualization Experience (VMware vSphere)
• Desirable experience on MS SQL server, Citrix XenApps
• Knowledge of architectural principles
• Knowledge of ITIL processes
• Excellent communicator
• Leadership and initiative
• Autonomous
• Ability to work in a team
• Bilingualism (spoken / written) French and English
• Availability to work on different shifts (day, evening, night)
• Ability to interact with various IT and non-IT sectors to explain security issues.
 
A possibility of conversion to permanent position at the Bank is to be expected according to the evolution and the needs.

Sous direction générale, prendre la responsabilité de toutes les activités associées à l’administration des systèmes. S’assurer que les exigences à long terme en matière d’opérations et d’administration des systèmes sont incluses dans l’ensemble de la planification des systèmes d’information de l’organisation. Être responsable de l’installation, de la maintenance, de la configuration et de l’intégrité du logiciel informatique. Mettre en oeuvre les améliorations du système opérationnel qui permettront une plus grande fiabilité et un meilleur rendement du système. 5 à 10 ans d’expérience.
 
Besoin : Nous sommes à la recherche d’une ressource afin de collaborer avec notre équipe de gestion des vulnérabilités au sein de la Banque. Cette équipe relève du Directeur, Intégration des Services d’Infrastructures TI.

Une possibilité de conversion en poste permanent à la Banque est à prévoir en fonction de l’évolution et des besoins.
