Our client in the Banking industry is seeking a Branch Administration Support in Toronto. This is a 6 months contract.
Role Mandate:
Accountable to provide administrative support to the Branch by providing support on daily activities. In particular, they receive tickets submitted by front-line workers regarding the bank tool that tracks their performance, analytics and KPIs. Its this resources responsibility to investigate the tickets and gage if a discrepancy in system data is present, and resolve said error in a timely way. For more complex inquiries, they escalate tickets to senior analysts.

This role is a dynamic hybrid opportunity for a candidate looking for a position that blends analytics and administrative duties. A candidate with a penchant for statistics would thrive in this role, though the position does not require someone with a heavy development background. In addition, the role is 100% remote and can remain as such for the entirety of the contract, opening the candidate pool to outside the GTA.
Role Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Field tickets submitted from front line staff regarding staff performance, KPIs appointment tracking, and other relevant performance metrics.
Administration of client accounts: verification of new Client Account Agreement (CAAs)
Log address changes and manage address change report (match report with client letters).
Review log accuracy tool (errors) tool recorded before CAAs leave for Toronto
Responsible for a full range of administrative duties including telephone coverage, filing, word processing, correspondence, creation and updating of portfolios.
Review/analyze data from multiple sources in order to assist with closing investigations within SLAs
Identify/refer cases to the Team Lead when escalations occur- will be responsible for providing background and edification where required
Must-Have Skills:
1-2 years of similar experience- note that this does not need to be in the banking field per say
Strong MS Office skills- Word, Outlook, Excel
Basic SQL and SAS knowledge- the ability to interpret and understand SQL queries
Analytical mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written- good customer-facing demeanor
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Bilingual in French & English is a HUGE plus
Experience fulfilling requests for front line staff
Educational Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in statistics, math or computer science highly preferred- this can ensure candidates have the basic understanding of SQL and SAS, even without considerable years of experience in the field.
Candidates must live in Canada and posses a valid work permit.
