MaxSys is currently looking for a Communications, Intermediate for our Federal Client.
Secondary school diploma is required
Must clearly demonstrate 2 years experience within the past 3 years of advanced knowledge of the operation of professional digital video and still cameras, teleprompters, stabilizers, lighting and sound equipment, both in and out of multimedia studios. Examples of camera operation work must be provided via a demo reel or links to online videos.
Must clearly demonstrate 2 years experience within the past 3 years of experience in professional video editing and post-production. Is able to edit video, audio and other digital assets into a final video product based on a script, storyboard, past examples, existing templates and guidance from senior producers. Examples of video editing work must be provided via a demo reel or links to online videos.
Duties that may include, but not limited to:
Meet with clients and communications staff to discuss video requirements and provide strategic advice and recommendations to clients on video productions based on their Public affairs needs.
Provide strategic advice and recommendations to clients on video productions based on their Public affairs needs;
Develop and implement strategies for video productions, prepare creative briefs and act as director of production on sets;
Advise on managing client expectations and ensure client relations on video projects is a smooth process, by adhering to deadlines of delivery yet remaining flexible for changes as required;
Coordinate equipment, locations, and other resources, as well as supervise and instruct crew, in managing the production, post-production and delivery of video projects, including approvals;
Film video productions in various formats and methods that includes: using green screen, live production and broadcast situations as well as on-location filming of interviews and b-roll;
Set up audio and video equipment for video productions;
Report on needs for equipment repairs, updates, and making recommendations on purchases of new equipment that may be required;
Oversee post-production of audio, graphic, and video elements into video productions;
Provide assistance support to special projects as required, within the realm of video production duties;
May provide administrative duties at times, as required, such as: assisting with scheduling filming times, liaising with prospective clients; assisting with inventory; overseeing equipment and location logistics and access; assisting with requests for resources such as contracts for voiceovers, equipment, locations, captioning, and approvals;
Collaborate with other videographers and multiple teams;
Must be willing to travel, do shift work hours and be flexible with work hours as required.
