MaxSys is currently looking for a Communications Senior for our Federal Client.
Qualifications:
Education:
Secondary school diploma is required
Experience:
Expertise in production of news releases, newsletters, brochures, advertisements, media response lines, media analyses, multimedia content, and Web content. Must demonstrate in a resume 3 years experience within the past 5 years and provide examples.
Must demonstrate in a short paragraph (less than 500 words):
a) Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines and changes in priorities
b) Ability to take into consideration Government of Canada policies, directives, standards and/or guidelines relevant to digital communications, user-centric design best practices, digital communications project management techniques, evaluation and analysis techniques related to digital communications, analytics and performance measurement when making recommendations to clients, stakeholders, and senior management
Experience in internal communications. Must demonstrate in a resume 3 years experience within the past 5 years.
Experience in marketing or advertising. Must demonstrate in a resume 3 years experience within the past 5 years.
Experience in coordinating Web or intranet projects in collaboration with multiple stakeholders. Must demonstrate in a resume 3 years experience within the past 5 years.
Duties that may include, but not limited to:
Contribute to the planning, development, implementation and measurement of digital social media strategies.
Disseminate communication materials, and other information, internally and externally.
Create; write short original content, edit, and post multi-media content on websites and social media sites.
Research social media communication trends, best practices, policies, procedures, and accessibility in both the private and public sectors.
Identify and assess potential opportunities for DND to use social media tools to enhance the scope, versatility and breadth of communication.
Develop, propose and implement social media guidelines, procedures, templates, tools, standards, retention schedules in compliance with DND policies.
Advice management on recommended approaches and potential repercussions related to digital and social media.
Respond to all inquiries/comments and/or coordinating with appropriate division, programs, etc. for response/action.
Maintain communication platforms and ensure timeliness and quality of all activities given their visibility of communications.
Consult with internal and external stakeholders for communications, and publications.
Coordinate product development, translation and approval.
Language: Bilingual Intermediate
Security Clearance: Enhanced Level
