MaxSys is currently looking for a Compensation Specialist for our Federal Client.
Secondary school diploma is required
Must have 5 years of relevant experience
Resolves complex cases and contentious issues that arise from the Sectors caseload and provides advice and guidance on operational compensation issues to Compensation Advisors and Human Resources Advisors
Responsible for quality control verification and provides feedback to Compensation Specialists on rejected transactions.
Implements internal controls, compiles and prepares reports, analyses, identifies and determines errors and recommends training requirements to the Supervisor Operational Compensation and Benefit Supervisor, Operational Compensation and Benefits.
Shares information provided by the Supervisor Operational Compensation and Benefits Supervisor, Operational Compensation and Benefits and delivers and on-the-job training/stand-up training/mentoring to Compensation Specialists on the daily operations and interpretation of legislation, regulations, policies, directives, guidelines, central agency decisions in the areas of compensation and benefits.
Participates in preparing operational procedures and guidelines on organizational and federal government-wide compensation and benefits initiatives and best practices for use by Compensation Specialist in the delivery of compensation and benefits services.
Coordinates and prepares communication on compensation and benefits for employees and managers.
Participates in the management and delivery of special compensation projects and initiatives such as re-engineering and program improvements, systems development and implementation of electronic tools, devising solutions to contentious cases and development and delivery of training and education tools.
