Our client in Banking & Finance industry is seeking a Data Entry Specialist in Toronto. This is a 4 months contract position.
Job Description
This specific project will be to provide support in the conversion from APMS to Loan IQ.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
• Process and/or fulfill transactions, perform audit/ reconciliation activities and/or other activities in accordance with established priorities and deadlines on a timely, accurate and efficient basis.
• Resolve discrepancies/ exceptions that frequently deal with non-routine situations, requiring further analysis.
• Investigate and resolve or make recommendations to more senior team members on more complex, non-routine issues relating to internal business partner and/or external customer inquiries or requests, business process efficiency and quality control within established procedures.
• Read and interpret credit agreements
• Keying in deals into Loan IQ
• Proactively work with others (i.e., on own team, shared service centre, other operational areas, or with the internal business partner and/or external customer) to ensure delivery of timely, quality and efficient fulfillment activities.
• Other duties as required.
• 2-3 years of related experience or University/college degree in a relevant field such as Business or Finance.
• Proficient with MS Office Suites – Word, Excel, Outlook
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Eagerness to learn
• Quick learner/tech savvy
• Previous Loan IQ experience
• Previous experience working on a project/conversion at another bank or FI
• Previous experience reading and interpreting trade agreements
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Approachable
University/college degree is required – in a relevant field is preferred (Business/finance).
