Role
The Learning & Development team supports the transformation of Network’s business results and customer experience by delivering and supporting valued programs that engage team members through attracting and retaining top talent and continuously developing transformational skills and competencies.
As a Design and Learning Specialist, you will help build and support the organization’s overall capacity for development, through a “culture of learning” to facilitate positive impact of the strategic priorities of the business. Specifically, you will support the Wireless Access Network – Radio Ops/Solutions team on learning solution delivery of various projects.
 
Responsibilities
• The primary responsibility will be to work with Mobility Radio Service Operations, Network Operation Center (NOC), BMR Service Desk, Wireless Field Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, customers and external vendors to ensure overall training programs are delivered
• Manage all training requirements including develop the training plan and training material and co-ordinate training sessions for Technical, Operations and Service Desk teams
• Ensure all training scope, timeline, budget and performance are met and proactively manage risks/issues
• Work with the project members to proactively address issues, action items and risks. Escalate and report on critical issues in timely manner
• Co-ordinate with internal teams and external teams such as customers and vendors /sub-contractors to ensure training programs are defined and delivered to meet the requirements in classrooms setting and Web Based training
• Provide course evaluations and apply feedback to future courses
• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all client stakeholders. Build positive and productive working relationships with customers, vendors and all internal teams
 
Experience & Qualifications
• Proven track record in developing and delivering learning programs, and impacting leadership efficiency through innovation approaches to learning
• Experience with development of training materials
• Ability to manage delivery, coordination and external/internal relationships
• Ability to work under pressure with multiple conflicting priorities.
• Willingness to take ownership and drive toward targets to ensure success
• Ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving and constantly evolving high growth environment
• Able to influence external vendors, internal projects teams and client stakeholders
through effective communication
• Be highly self-motivated with proactive & creative approach to problem solving
• Excellent program management and analytical skills
• Self-sufficient and strong ability to drive and adapt to changes
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and with changing technology
• Ability to motivate others and promote team spirit and employee value
• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, related degree in Adult Education or Adult Learning Certificate or equivalent combination of education or equivalent experience
• CTDP or other instructional design designation preferred
• Bilingual (English and French) is an asset
