MaxSys is currently looking for a HR Clerk for our Federal Client.
• Secondary school diploma is required
• Must clearly demonstrate 2 years’ experience of working with the Federal government within the past 5 years
• Must clearly demonstrate 2 years’ experience of working in an administration or HR role within the past 5 years
Duties that may include, but not limited to:
• Identify if a leave pass is properly complete, and then log it into Guardian.
• Identify if a leave pass amendment is properly complete then make the required amendment in Guardian.
• Complete required paperwork for promotions, to include liaising with exterior groups.
• Complete required paperwork for medals with the use of MAPS through Guardian, to include liaising with exterior groups.
• Complete required paperwork for Terms of Service (ToS), to include liaising with exterior groups.
• Have a working knowledge of ToS and be able to explain them to a department member.
• Engage all groups and complete required paperwork for postings.
• Have a strong working knowledge of CCPS and be able to complete the following payroll tasks:
a) View and edit Continuous Allowances / Deductions
b) Change Allotments
c) Assess Misc Debit/Credit
d) Conduct Non-Recurring Adjustments
e) Update Mbr Allowance Level
f) Activate / Cease Predetermined Pay
g) Process Posting Loans
h) Pay Chits
i) Conduct Banking Change
j) In/Out Routines – Posting In/Out
k) Posting Allowance
• Be able to complete requests and audits for green passports.
• Understand and be able to execute processes related to submitting Honours and Awards.
• Use basic functionality of Monitor Mass to find information about unit personnel to answer RFIs from others or identify information you require.
• Be capable of reporting on all tasks outlined in section 2 of this document via oral brief, or reported via Microsoft Suite tools (Words, Excel, Outlook, etc).
• Be capable of completing online training provided by department in order to increase their abilities to complete any of the above mentioned tasks.
• Being able to research information pertaining to department policy.
