Our client is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to work in Montreal:
The associate is responsible for ensuring the field operations team has the critical parts available to them for helping support the network. They are available as Level 2 support for resolution of complex and unusual situations. Management or other stakeholders can refer escalated situations to them. As part of maintaining sufficient warehouse stock levels at the warehouse, The associate will process defective parts to be repaired/replaced (internally or externally) and submit requests to purchase new materials as required.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Frontline sparing support for technicians
Escalation management for technician requests
Manage and analyse forecasted demands, new installations and customer driven requests to meet critical dates
Monitor and analyze stock management locations and inventory levels to determine required stock levels to meet service requirements while respecting technical and geographical distinctiveness.
Determine, co-ordinate and negotiate with internal/external groups to fulfill equipment requirements, establish due dates for service assurance & provisioning.
Analyze inventories and equipment to determine sparing allocation
Purchase of critical spares
Manage repair process for critical spares including repair PO creation
Key Decision / Problem Solving:
Investigate, validate the spare material requirements and develop resolutions to meet customer requirements expectations, while adhering to regulations, timelines and workload prioritization.
Resolve inventory and order discrepancies
Analyze for and submit requests to purchase new materials and/or process defective parts to be repaired/replaced.
Manage the assets while adhering to corporate guidelines for capital expenditures
Identify roadblocks/ risks and take action to ensure continuity of service.
Bilingual in French/English mandatory
Superior command of verbal and written communication skills
Able to prioritize and multi-task at a high level while maintaining organization
Ability to adapt to change, in an environment where priorities change frequently
Self-motivated, self-governing, and accountable
Understanding of project management principles
Intermediate skills in SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is a must
37.5 hours per week
