Our client is seeking a Junior Help Desk / Admin in Toronto. This is a permanent position.
 
Job Description
 
Desktop and IT support for Toronto and New York. Ensure desktops and laptops are running efficiently. General Junior Network Administrator duties.
Responsible for end user experience when interacting with our systems.
 
Specific Duties: List all duties and responsibilities required to fulfill your role
 
• Desktop & Laptop Environment:
• Maintain, patch, and life cycle management of all laptops and desktops
• Execute and maintain both local and cloud backups and restores for all desktops and laptops
• Deploy new machines
• Maintaining quick response times to IT issues reported by users
• Troubleshoot end user issues as they arise
• Create and maintain Windows OS images for use in quick turn-around deployment of desktops and laptops
• Maintain stock of desktops, laptops, and peripherals
• Maintain consumables stock for all printers
• Move, change, add-ons,
• Assist Andrew and Vlad in troubleshooting basic network level and back end systems when needed

• General Junior Network Administrator duties that may include:
• Virtual Servers and underlying hardware
• IP Telephony
• Wi-Fi
• File & Print servers
• IP Phone Management Portal
• Backup schedules & Backup Appliances
• Networking
• Basic Cabling (LAN & IP phones)
• Cyber Security
• Policy, Procedure Documentation
• Other IT or IS duties as needed
 
Qualifications and Skills:
BA, Informational Technology
Solid communication, problem solving and people skills
Team work Oriented
Multi-Tasking
Required skills:-
-Junior Network
-Help Desk Experience
-Building Computers
-Remote Asscess (Hands on)
-Can be junior (But understands the IT specialist world)
-Personality and having a good attitude is key
-Initiative is very important
