MaxSys is currently looking for a Level 3 Financial Specialist for our Federal Client.
Secondary school diploma is required
Must submit a detailed resume for the proposed resource demonstrating that the minimum mandatory requirements are met (combination of education, professional certification/designation and/or work experience)
Must demonstrate that the proposed resource has completed the relevant education for the senior financial specialist category with proof of a University (PhD, Graduate, Undergraduate degree) or a college or CEGEP Diploma from a recognized institution, in combination with a relevant financial professional certification.
Must clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience which includes the following activites, a to k, as a senior financial specialist in the past 12 years. This proof must be provided within the candidates resume.
a) Planning and coordinating financial management activities including financial estimates and business requirements
b) Evaluating financial management procedures
c) Conducting cost benefit analysis and life cycle costing (Cost and estimate Management)
d) Developing business plans
e) Developing models to carry out cost analysis of the resources required to perform specific inspections related to a project (Project Management)
f) Performing risk analysis
g) Determining the resources required for implementation of projects such as acquisition costs, operation and maintenance costs and both recurring and non-recurring costs
h) Assisting in developing costs for specific activities such as: direct project costs, project support overhead, corporate and administrative (C&A) overhead, costs of products and services, and other related costs (Financial accounting)
i) Planning, acquiring, and controlling the use of funds so as to meet the goals of an organization and maximize its value (Procurement integration in Project Management, contract process management)
j) Identifying an organization’s financial and non-financial objectives so as to improve its performance, determining whether those objectives are being effectively achieved
k) Developing and modifying business cases and financial plans for the future.
Duties that may include, but not limited to:
Diversity and level of depth of variables to analyze;
Depth and breadth of technical and operational knowledge required to conduct the analyses;
Degree and completeness of available data;
Access to subject matter experts; and
Extent of research required to conduct analyses.
