MaxSys is currently looking for a Life Cycle Management Specialist, Level 3 for our Federal Client.
 
Qualifications:
 
Education:
 
• Secondary school diploma is required
 
Experience:
 
• Must possess a minimum of four (4) years demonstrated experience in the last six (6) years providing weapons systems technical services relating to at least four (4) of the six (6) below:
1. Ordnance Engineering Systems support;
2. Live Firing Test Plans and Trials;
3. Investigation of armament incidents;
4. Electro-Optical System Engineering Support for the Fire Control Systems and Targeting systems;
5. Preparation and review of instructions and procedures regarding the appropriate handling, clean-up, protective clothing and safety measures to deal with ordnance and ammunition; and
6. Environmental or hazardous material assessments of equipment and systems.
• Must have a minimum of four (4) years of experience, within the last six (6) years, providing technical services relating to Heavy Armoured Track Vehicle ammunition
• Must have a minimum of four (4) years of experience, within the last six (6) years, providing technical services relating to military Main Battle Tanks
 
Duties may include, but not limited to:
 
• Conduct technical studies related to munitions and armament support;
• Provide Ordnance Technical Systems support for DASPM 4;
• Provide expertise for Live Firing Trials;
• Review Live Firing Test Plans;
• Provide support to DASPM 4 for investigation of armament incidents;
• Provide Electro-Optical System Technical Support services to support the Fire Control Systems and Targeting systems relating to the Leopard 2 vehicle fleet;
• Conduct Research and Development into offensive and defensive ordnance systems as they might affect the survivability of the Leopard 2 vehicle fleet;
• Provide draft specifications of systems, sub-systems, equipment, interfaces or ancillaries for equipment and ammunition related to the Leopard 2 vehicle fleet;
• Provide draft technical evaluation plans and evaluation standards related to ordnance and ammunition;
• Generate and/or evaluate test plans, procedures and reports related to ordnance and ammunition;
• Research and make recommendations to the TA on the interaction of ordnance systems and radiation source (communications and jammer equipment);
• Prepare drawings, data packages and systems manuals related to ordnance and ammunition;
• Participate in planning meetings and technical reviews relating to the design, application management and support of software sub-systems;
• Track, correct and record system and equipment configuration status and/or conformance;
• Assist the TA in the preparation and the review of instructions and procedures regarding the appropriate handling, clean-up, protective clothing and safety measures to deal with ordnance and ammunition; and
• Assist the TA in conducting environmental or hazardous materiel assessments of equipment and systems.
