MaxSys is currently looking for a Life Cycle Management Specialist for our Federal Client.
• Secondary school diploma is required
• Minimum of five (5) years’ technical work experience in the last ten (10) years as a Life Cycle Management Specialist
• Must clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource possesses a minimum of three (3) years’ work experience utilizing the Materiel Management (MM) module in SAP and/or utilizing the Materiel Management (MM) module in the Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS) in the last five (5) years
• Must clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource possesses a minimum of one (1) year’ work experience utilizing the Canadian Government Cataloguing System in the last five (5) years
Duties that may include, but not limited to:
• Review the MEOSAR Phase II Design Build and Commissioning (DBAC) SOW to familiarize with the scope of work, including Appendix F – Provisioning Documentation Specification;
• Review the Provisioning Document (PD), which is comprised of the Provisioning Parts Breakdown (PPB), the Recommended Spare Parts List (RSPL), the Long Lead Time Item List (LLTIL) and the Supplementary Provisioning Technical Document (SPTD – includes Definition Documents, Data Sheets and User Manuals from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)), to ensure that all required information has been provided for DND to catalogue and which fully describes the item within the NATO Codification system;
• Conduct research, as required, which may include identifying the OEM, to resolve deficiencies in deliverable information required for DND cataloguing action;
• Catalog new equipment using DRMIS for the assignment of Permanent System Control Numbers (PSCN) and NATO Stock Numbers (NSN) by submitting Materiel Identification (MI) Requests via the DRMIS MI Portal for subsequent creation of the associated Materiel Master Record (MMR), in accordance with the EP 11 New Materiel Identification Request process;
• Liaise with the Director Supply Chain Operations (DSCO 5) which is part of Canadian National Codification Bureau (NCB), the ADM(IM) Record Control Office (RCO), and the Asset and Inventory Strategy and Analysis (AISA) team (part of Director Financial Accounting (DFA) within ADM (Fin), as required in support of all aspects of the MI Request process;
• Assist with providing information for the assignment of MEOLUT Building Numbers and associated infrastructure into DRMIS; and
• Work with the Life Cycle Materiel Manager (LCMM) and the Supply Manager in bringing onto account catalogued equipment accepted into service
