Our client in Banking & Finance industry is seeking a Manager-Data and Analytics in Toronto. It is a 12 months contract 
Role Mandate:
The Manager, Data & Analytics is accountable to design, development and implementation of data-driven analytics solutions with a focus on Procurement information. This role partners with users across both Procurement and the wider bank to develop dashboards and tools based on user requirements. The Manager, Data & Analytics will drive insight and awareness into the bank’s third party spend with a goal of driving strategies that result in cost savings opportunities for the bank. This role is an expert in presenting information through intuitive visualizations and has a strong background in analytics and problem solving.

Role Responsibilities Include:
• Design, development, and implementation of comprehensive and leading-edge analytical solutions that deliver timely and accurate information that promotes user self-serve capabilities.
• Create awareness and understanding of the bank’s utilization of 3rd party suppliers in order to drive effective sourcing strategies based on the full enterprise scope of the products and services being provided.
• Drive insight into 3rd party suppliers across 5 key dimensions: spend, contracts, engagements, risk, and performance through effective visual-based dashboards and underlying capabilities.
• Build comprehensive and simple tool-kits that seamlessly connect various disparate data sources by identifying common elements that enable side by side comparisons.
• Partner with partners within Procurement, third-party risk and the wider bank to gather, interpret, and plan dashboard enhancements.
• Facilitate requirements gathering by balancing technical skills and expertise with sound business knowledge that ultimately connects a business problem with the right technical solution.

Must-Have Skills:
2-4 years of experience designing, implementing and supporting data management solutions- particularly building dashboards
Very strong experience conducting in-depth data analysis, configuration and reporting solutions
Very strong experience with Spotfire
Strong experience with MS Excel
Strong programming skills, specifically Python, JavaScript
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Power BI
Previous experience w/ ETL or database work can be a big asset
Experience working in a procurement team could be helpful
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail
Ability to build good relationships with other stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Team player
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
