MaxSys is currently looking for an Operations Support Clerk for our client in the west end area.
Secondary school diploma is required
1-2+ years of experience in logistics, distribution, inventory management, and order fulfillment. Preference on medical technology, and, or startup/scale up experience.
Ability to work in both an office and manufacturing / production environment.
Experience with Salesforce is a must (approx. 1 year). MS Dynamics experience is an asset. (Relevant experience with Netsuite, SAP or Oracle also an asset).
Intermediate experience with Excel.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Duties that may include, but not limited to:
Responsible for the efficient and accurate fulfillment of sales orders in anticipation of delivery.
Count, prepare and check all orders ensuring all components of the product are ready to be shipped via UPS according to schedule.
Review customs requirements for international shipping, as required.
Provide shipping quotes, and transit time to our sales, production, accounting, as directed.
Proactively identify operational inefficiencies and opportunities; work with the team to come up with creative solutions.
Maintain safe, clean and organized warehouse space.
Cross-train, and work as a backup to Inventory Clerk.
Assist with special projects, as required.
