MaxSys is currently looking for an Operations Support Clerk for our client in the west end area.
• Secondary school diploma is required
• 1-2+ years of experience in logistics, distribution, inventory management, and order fulfillment. Preference on medical technology, and, or startup/scale up experience.
• Ability to work in both an office and manufacturing / production environment.
• Experience with Salesforce is a must (approx. 1 year). MS Dynamics experience is an asset. (Relevant experience with Netsuite, SAP or Oracle also an asset).
• Intermediate experience with Excel.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Duties that may include, but not limited to:
• Responsible for the efficient and accurate fulfillment of sales orders in anticipation of delivery.
• Count, prepare and check all orders ensuring all components of the product are ready to be shipped via UPS according to schedule.
• Review customs requirements for international shipping, as required.
• Provide shipping quotes, and transit time to our sales, production, accounting, as directed.
• Proactively identify operational inefficiencies and opportunities; work with the team to come up with creative solutions.
• Maintain safe, clean and organized warehouse space.
• Cross-train, and work as a backup to Inventory Clerk.
• Assist with special projects, as required.
