Job DutiesGrind, scrape, sand, or polish surfaces using abrasive tools or machines.Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications.Perform other related duties, including minor duties of other trades where certification is not required and the work does not exceed own limitations.Position, join, align, and quartz and granite components.Lubricate, clean, maintain and repair machinery, equipment, and tools.Read and interpret plans, instructions, blueprints, structural drawings, rough sketches, and specifications to determine work activities.Operate a variety of hand and power tools.Other duties as required
RequirementsOne (1) year of experience in equivalent construction related field is desirableCurrently working in a trade desirableKnowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.Strong working mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenanceAbility to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
Work ConditionsPossess a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and own vehicleHazards associated with the construction industryUse of Personal Protection Equipment will be required (safety boots, protective eyewear)Work shift 2:30AM – 10:30AM
