RequirementsOne (1) year of experience as a Polisher, or in equivalent construction related field, is desirable
Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.Strong working mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenanceAbility to work independently and complete daily activities according to work scheduleAbility to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
Work ConditionsPossess a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and own vehicleUse of Personal Protection Equipment will be required (safety boots, protective eyewear)Work shift 2:30AM – 10:30AM
Job DutiesGrind, scrape, sand, or polish surfaces using abrasive tools or machines.Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications.Position, join, align, and quartz and granite components.Mix ingredients to create compounds for covering or cleaning surfaces.Read and interpret plans, instructions, blueprints, structural drawings, rough sketches, and specifications to determine work activities.Enter workflow status into software.Ensure an adequate supply of material is available for preventative maintenance program.Clean and prepare shop to eliminate possible hazards.
