MaxSys is currently looking for a Personal Protection Equipment Technologist for our Federal Client.
Qualifications:
 
Education:
• Secondary school diploma is required
• Must have successfully completed a university master degree (minimum of two years graduate studies) in one of the following  science domain: physics, chemistry, geochemistry, materials science
 
Experience:
 
• Must have a certificate and working knowledge 6 months in the last 10 years of finite element analysis with the LS-Dyna software and its application for ballistic impact simulations
 
Duties may include, but not limited to:
 
The work to be performed will be related but not limited to:
• Developing test plans to confirm systems performances including sampling plan definition
• Supervising the design and fabrication of the test equipment needed for the experimental
• Validation work at drdc prototype section  conducting and supporting the laboratory and field tests including the coordination as needed with
• Munitions experimental test center (metc) sections (metrology, imagery)
• Performing data acquisition tasks including film and digital photo services such as post-tests
• Digital analysis of witness sheets to characterize behind armour debris
• Performing finite element analysis of impact events with ls-dyna software
• Performing advanced data analysis and interpretation with software tools (e.g. Excel)
• Documenting the results of the experimental work by writing test reports and technical specifications
 
Language: Work can be performed in either French or English at the Contractor’s choice but all produced documentation must be delivered in English
Security Clearance: Secret Level
