MaxSys is currently looking for a Procurement Specialist, Senior for our Federal Client.
Qualifications:
 
Education:
• Secondary school diploma is required
Experience:
• Must have 120 months experience as a Procurement Specialist in the last 144 months. The 120 months is inclusive of the 48 months required to be a Senior Procurement Specialist with THS.
• Must have experience providing procurement advice and preparing supporting documents as it relates to emergency contracts, including but not limited to COVID-19 contracts. This experience must be within the Federal Government of Canada, Federal Agencies or Corporations. To support this criteria, a minimum of two (2) project/contracts is required and they must be within the last fourteen (24) months, stating the procurement method that was used, for which commodity (goods and/or services) and how they directly provided support to emergency response requirement
Duties that may include, but not limited to:
• Prepare and deliver all COVID-19 Rapid Testing Project contract requirements (both for goods and services);
• Develop, write and deliver Statements of Work for various projects;
• Prepare and deliver complex types of solicitations packages for Request for Proposals (RFP);
• Develop, write and deliver the Evaluation Criteria associated with the Statements of Work (SOW) for completeness and adherence to procurement regulations and guidelines;
• Develop and provide the Point-Rated evaluation criteria for solicitation packages;
• Prepare and provide all internal requisition additional supporting documentation such as the SRCL(s), Contract Work Situation Report, Intellectual Property document, etc., for DFO’s SAP upload;
• Act as the lead between the CCG internal client and the DFO contracting officer during the pre-solicitation stage;
• Provide procurement method functional guidance to the CCG Project Authority for all their anticipated upcoming projects which require eventual contracts;
• Provide procurement expertise and advice to senior management as needed and requested; and
• Be able to manage several solicitations files simultaneously and on-going.
