Our client in Telco industry is seeking a Program Manager (Ask HR Delivery) in Mississauga. This is a 17 months contract position.
 
Job Description
 
Purpose
• The Program Manager has oversight of the purpose and status of all projects in a Program and can use this oversight to support project-level activity to ensure the overall Program goals achieved.
• Overall cross functional coordination for HR, IT, Corporate Communications, Brand, Security (meeting schedule, resources, budget)
• Change management and employee communications (coordinate with Corporate Communications, manage training, support)
• Vendor demo coordination
• Executive progress reporting, E2E stakeholder management
• Identifies and manages cross-project dependencies
• Has strategic insight into HR
• Provides a decision-making capacity that cannot be achieved at project level
 
Responsibilities
• Responsible for running complex programs and projects. Right from the designing and development, till the production
• Controls and follows up of the interdependencies of the different project
• Understands customer’s business strategies
• Increases the relationship between Project and Employee/HR professional
• Responsible for project finances (budget)
• Unique voice to the customer for the multitude of projects within the program
• Works closely with customer to meet customer’s business goals
• Provides a decision-making capacity that cannot be achieved at project level
• Defines requirements and planning the project life cycle deployment
• Integrates planning of the different projects
• Planning and scheduling project goals, milestones and deliverables.
• Defines resources and schedule for project and program implementation
• Identifies and solves project issues effectively
• Follows proper path of escalation within customer escalation’s process
• Performs team assessment and evaluations.
• Provides feedback to team lead.
• Improves customer’s satisfaction
Experience
• 6+ years of Project Management experience with demonstrated results
• Business acumen
• University degree in related discipline or 5-7+ years related experience
• Expert knowledge of the Project Management Institute’s approach to Project Management and demonstrated successful completion of an advanced Project Management course
• PMP designation or equivalent is required.

• Exhibiting leadership qualities to define requirements for project risks.
