Our client in Banking & Finance industry is seeking a Project/Business Analyst in Toronto. This is a 18 months contract position.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with Project Managers and PMO Heads to manage Workplace Experience projects – the intersection of Corporate Real Estate, Technology and Human Resources
• Manages assigned aspects of the project lifecycle and works with relevant project stakeholders. For example: collecting and consolidating the high level and detailed requirements
• Assists in the planning, preparation, and maintenance of strategy documents, project team schedules, project updates and project issues logs
• Creates and analyzes insights using data modeling techniques (e.g. occupancy planning for a new building)
• Performs various project tasks, including coordinating meetings, preparing meeting content, communications, etc.
 
TOP SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
• 2 to 4 years relevant work experience (e.g. planning and managing projects)
• Experience designing processes and project requirements
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to diagnose issues and make recommendations for resolution
• Communication (written and oral)
• Track record for learning and applying the use of tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Skype, audio/visual technologies and other social networking platforms
• Advanced Excel
• Ability to build / govern Sharepoint sites
• Data analysis
 
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• Project management software experience like Clarity, but other software experience would be fine as well
• Banking experience
• Experience working in a corporate atmosphere
• Requirement writing. Sharepoint administration. Data Analysis.

• Exceptional ability to take initiative, collaborate with people in person and virtually
• Communication and problem solving
 
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
• University degree/college diploma
