MaxSys is currently hiring  full-time R&D Operator III for a 1 year contract at our Ottawa, ON client’s medical manufacturing facility. The shift is a Monday – Friday and pay rate will be determined by qualifications and experience.
General Accountability
 
 
Desired Laboratory skills
• Experience working within a laboratory setting (>1 year) – required
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change and work independently with minimal supervision – required
• Ability to handle a large amount of work efficiently and effectively – required
• Ability to work accurately and precisely – required
• Adheres and advocates to highest safety standards – required
• Ability to train peers on new procedures or processes – required
• Ability to acquire and demonstrate knowledge of safety and health procedures as they relate to the human resources of the organization – required
• Ability to effectively adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and sudden or frequent changes in priority in order to accomplish objectives – required
• Experience working with analytical equipment (>1 year) – an asset
• Experience working within a regulated laboratory environment – an asset
• Experience writing/preparing operational procedures, forms and templates – an asset
• Obtained and applied previous safety training – an asset

Desired Information Technology skills
• Proficient with Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) – required
• Experience working with MS Excel (intermediate or better) – required
• Experience with inventory management – an asset
