As a member of Engineering Services team, the candidate will contribute to the Research and Development teams success by supporting multiple project teams, simultaneously.
Main tasks will include, and are not limited to: Planning of component manufacturingAttend regular R&D project meetings to discuss needs and changesProviding weekly updates to the program teamCollaborate with Manufacturing Operations regarding the scheduling of R&D Project work orders and communicate status as required. Ensure all forms and documents are accurate and up to date.Schedule and track all special orders and strive for complete and on time deliveryManage the inventory of all required materials, including appropriate disposalUnderstand and comply with Quality and EH&S policies, procedures and guidelinesSafeguard the environment and facilitate a safe and healthy workplace culture.Other miscellaneous duties as may be required.
Required Education and Experience:College Diploma (3 year program), or equivalent experienceMinimum 1-3 years relevant experience in a regulated manufacturing environmentProficiency with Microsoft Excel, able to use multiple formulas/functions. Knowledge of Excel macros considered an assetDetail-oriented and ability to multi-task.Basic to intermediate knowledge and understanding of business processes and requirements.
Familiarity with any of the following areas would be an asset:Database managementProduction and inventory managementDemand planningMaterial coordinationMedical devices, their development and useISO/FDA regulations
