Monitor vulnerabilities with KPIs
Ensure a link with the operations teams (Windows, Telecom, Unix …)
Integrate scanning solutions at SIEM
Monitor new vulnerabilities and viruses
Follow up with system administrators on the progress of patches for discovered vulnerabilities
Investigate security alerts and incidents
Investigate all security events derived from activities or abnormal attempts.
Control patch management for Windows, Unix and Linux
Analyze all the vulnerabilities of the financial institutions systems in order to confirm the risk levels
Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable SecurityCenter, Rapid7
Develop policies, standards, guidelines and procedures for IT security.
Review security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures, and provide advice on their relevance and effectiveness.
Conduct compliance audits of operations, application systems, and IT infrastructure.
Assess threats and risks to facilities, application systems and IT communications.
Review backup and recovery plans.
Investigate security incidents, report causes and weaknesses, and recommend solutions.
Design a security framework and implement the security components of the necessary IT infrastructure to protect assets and support application systems.
Advise on some aspects of the security of developing application systems.
Develop and deliver IT security awareness and training programs.
Possess a bachelor’s degree with possibility of a graduate degree in a particular field of expertise.
Be familiar with a variety of concepts, practices and procedures related to the field of expertise.
Perform a variety of tasks.
Usually reports to a supervisor or manager.
Ideally should have 5 to 10 years of experience
