Our client is looking for Senior Associate IC Investment Ops
 
L.O.B. North American Personal Banking & Wealth Management Operations
Est. Start Date: June 21, 2021
End Date: October 31, 2021
Length of Contract: 4 months
Possibility of Extension: Yes
Physical Working Location: Toronto
Remote: Yes – Optional: Candidate comes into office first day to ensure all assets are set up and working correctly
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm

Role Mandate:
The associate is accountable for the set-up and investment of managed accounts.

Teams are very supportive of one another. Work is mainly individual dealing with all forms on onboarding and offboarding employee requests. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong attention to detail, accurate, and confident in asking questions to understand the overall process of what needs to be completed.
Must-Have Skills:
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Strong data entry skills
• Communicating concisely with professionalism, both written and oral
• Tech-savvy individual with strong computer and writing skills
• Works independently with minimal support
• Attention to detail and process driven
• Ability to problem-solve and take initiative
• Fast learner with the ability to multi-task
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Previous financial institution experience • Detail-oriented and accurate
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Self-managing, self-directed, and willingness to learn
Education
• High School Diploma or higher
• Experience is preferred over education
 
Role Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Setting up managed accounts for five different programs using RIS and W360
• Ensuring accuracy in account setups to avoid issues that can impact client fees and trading, which would lead to financial losses
• Ask questions to understand entire process to accurately complete tasks
• Work will be distributed by a Team Lead and individual will process each individual distribution they receive
• Complete accounts assigned for the day, by the end of the day
• Majority of communication is through MS Teams and emails, dealing with internal
