MaxSys is currently looking for a Senior Communications for our Federal Client.
Qualifications:
 
Education:
• Secondary school diploma is required
Experience:
• Must demonstrate a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional work experience within the last fifteen (15) years from bid closing date as a Communications Consultant
• Must provide two (2) relevant Federal (including crown corporations and agencies) client references where the proposed resource has worked as a Communications Specialist on projects in an environment similar to that described in the Statement of Work within the last five (5) years from bid closing date
• Must demonstrate that he or she have professional work experience on a minimum of three (3) projects developing communications and change management strategies within the last five (5) years from bid closing date
• Must demonstrate that he or she have professional work experience writing creative treatments and scripts for videos on a minimum of three (3) projects
Duties that may include, but not limited to:
• Developing and implementing strategic communication plans in geographically dispersed organizations going through an organizational transformation (change management)
• Providing communications consultation advice to support strategic communications initiatives and strategies
• Creating communications support materials
• Developing and implementing creative communication and information products using a variety of tools, techniques and media and selecting an appropriate medium to convey information, ideas, and results
• Developing and implementing communication strategies and plans
• Ensuring information is communicated to the appropriate people in a timely manner
• Ensuring communications are clearly understood by encouraging and listening to feedback both internally and externally in the organization
• Determine target audiences in order to better develop messages
• Identify and determine communications impediments and barriers
• Provide support and assist communicators in using social media channels to complement traditional channels
