Job Description:
Maxsys Staffing & Consulting is currently seeking a Senior Manager / Director for a permanent full time position – Permanent Placement Division, to start immediately at our downtown Toronto office.
This role will report directly to the President of Maxsys Staffing & Consulting.
This is both a challenging and exciting role in which you will have the opportunity to set up, create and build the permanent division in Toronto, for both executive and permanent placements. In this role, you will have 2 to 3 associates reporting to you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Able to liaison with prospects and clients to identify future permanent job openings.
• Have excellent knowledge and understanding of job descriptions, including sourcing from relevant media platforms.
• Provide relevant guidance and assistance where necessary to employees. 
• Have the ability to make quick and effective decisions, while being a strong team leader.
• Manage recruitment process to ensure internal hiring of qualified employees, meets current and future needs.
• Update current and design new recruiting procedures (e.g. job application and onboarding processes).
• Experience in supervising a recruiting team, and reporting on their performance.
• Keeping track of recruiting metrics such as time-to-hire and cost-per-hire.
• Implement new sourcing methods (e.g. social recruiting and Boolean searches).
• Review recruitment software and suggest the best use for company needs.
• Recommend ways to improve Maxsys Staffing & Consulting brand.
• Stay up-to-date on labour legislation, and inform recruiters and managers on all changes in regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in HR, talent and performance management, and engagement. 
• Build Maxsys Staffing & Consulting’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, prospects, clients, colleges and other partners.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment, while developing and maintaining a network of professionals within all industries.
• 5 to 7 years’ experience in a similar role within the staffing industry.
• Experience training and assisting internal employees regarding recruitment, as required.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills.
• Able to bring your ‘book of business’, including an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the recruitment industry.
In this role, you will be an integral part of the team which will be dedicated to the permanent placement division.
You will guide, assist and advise your employees through the hiring process, while providing superior customer service, while demonstrating high ethical standards in handling confidential and sensitive information.
