Our client in Telco industry is seeking a Senior Programmer / Analyst in Verdun. This is a 12 months contract position.
Job Description
As a Senior Java Developer, you will be part of our IT team, who manages the infrastructure and service availability for more than 1000 applications, more specifically voice/internet/data key service provisioning applications.  IT Delivery teams work program represent 60% of the IT Capital invested in key initiatives that supports Business Units priorities and strategic imperatives.
Job Duties/Accountabilities
The IT/Network Provisioning team is currently working on many key strategic projects. Our Department recently adopted Agility (SCRUM) and trying currently a complete transformation adopting the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE®). 
In order to reach the next level, be more efficient, and deliver value faster, we are currently seeking a strong Senior Java developer who is comfortable with CI/CD pipelines. You would be collaborating not only in helping delivering new functionality but also participating in selecting and configuring new tools, libraries and frameworks.
Every day, you will be working with other team members but also with experts from different domains: Networking, security, architecture, system administration etc.
It is important to mention that the working language of the team at Montreal campus is French, but important to master English for communications with colleagues and partners around the world.
Critical Qualifications/Competencies
• University degree in Software/Computer Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent).
• 8 years’ experience (minimum) with:
o Java/J2EE programming
o SQL/PLSQL and all RDBMS platform (Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL Server, etc.)
o Mastering best practices of software development
• Ability to communicate in french and english (verbal and written)
• Preferred Qualifications/Competencies
• Oracle Weblogic Server configuration/Administration
• Springboot and micro-services
• Red Hat Open Shift or Kubernetes
• Hands-on Development experience with Oracle OSM or UIM product
• Scripting (Perl, Shell, AWK)
• Telecommunication background (Access Network in particular)
• On top of mastering these technical skills, you are demonstrating curiosity autonomy and a very good team spirit.
