MaxSys is currently looking for a Special Advisor, Senior for our Federal Client.
• Secondary school diploma is required
• Must have a certification or demonstrated expertise in Enterprise Architecture, such as TOGAF, DODAF and DNDAF
• Experience using TeamMate Audit Management Software.
• Must clearly demonstrate 3 years of experience within the past 5 years at the strategic level in analyzing DND Directives, drafting strategy papers & plans and designing/improving new capability development governance structures
• Must clearly demonstrate 5 years of experience within the past 10 years at the strategic level in requirements management, capability development and monitoring capital project approval process
• Must clearly demonstrate experience within the last 2 years working in all phases of capability development such as requirements intake and prioritization, management/governance and drafting Terms of Reference (ToR). Candidate must have 10 years of experience with Government of Canada
• Must demonstrate strong communication (writing and oral) collaborate within group dynamic and take action with limited direction and guidance
Duties may include, but not limited to:
The work to be performed will be related but not limited to:
• The Special Advisor will work with the project team and stakeholders facilitating input on the following deliverables:
• Work on and help develop DCIO & CAF J6 D&G for FD planners;
• Work on and help develop DCIO & CAF J6 D&G for C2 Interoperability;
• Work on and help develop the Joint Targeting Effects;
• Work on and help develop the Network Service Convergence;
• Work on and help develop the Enterprise Service Management section;
• Help adjust/update the Defence Chief Information Officer Functional Planning Guidance to better describe and include DGICFD and its Directorate;
• Participate in various working groups, boards and committees and provide assessment and evaluation and how DJC2IS FD fits in;
• Assess and integrate the Defence IM/IT Programme governance with other Government Departments and Allies governance framework.
