MaxSys is currently looking for a Stores Services Senior for our Federal Client.
MUST HAVE A DRIVERS LICENSE!!!
Qualifications:
 
Education:
• Secondary school diploma is required
• Must possess a valid forklift certification for propane and electric forklifts
Experience:
• Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years in each of the following:
a) Shipping and receiving of technical material,
b) Order picking,
c) Manually moving equipment weighing up to 25 kg,
d) Moving equipment with forklifts and pallet jacks,
e) Wrapping, labelling,
f) Physically organizing equipment and
g) Keeping organized records of shipments
Duties that may include, but not limited to:
• Based on discussions with Project Authority or delegate, manage the receipt, shipment, organization and documentation of technical materials and supplies arriving at NRCan facilities. Work with Project Authority to prioritize particular elements.
• Receipt/shipment of technical materials and supplies will require use of forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials around NRCan facilities and lifting/moving materials up to 25 kg manually for storage and organization.
• Documentation may include checklists, forms, spreadsheets, delivery receipt, inventory systems and similar documents for the purpose of recording and verifying material identification such as serial numbers and NRCan issued asset tags as well as quantities delivered against supplier obligations or shipped to contractors.
• Organization of technical materials and supplies will be required once documented.
• Work may include taking photographs of technical items; photographic equipment would be provided in this case.
• Prepare draft documentation for review using software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Incorporate requested changes in documentation content to develop final versions.
• Track status of work and be prepared to report on weekly or biweekly basis to Project Authority or delegate. Arrange meetings as required
