Provide talent acquisition support through the completion of daily administrative tasks and assisting in the management of various aspects of the recruitment life-cycle. Use technology to support recruitment activities through the WSIB HRMS systems, external job boards, the internet and other social networks and recruiting websites. Coordinate and communicate with large volumes of internal and external candidates to schedule testing, interviews and their respective status in the recruitment and prepare and finalize corporate recruitment repots.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to Talent Acquisition Consultants through maintaining the Applicant Tracking Sheet, sending and tracking email correspondents with external and internal candidates, posting jobs both internally and externally of various job boards, maintaining invoices, scheduling team meetings, scheduling testing/interviews and preparing the testing/interview packages for internal and external candidates.
Assist Talent Acquisition Consultants in the management of various aspects of the recruitment process for multiple cross-functional disciplines including bilingual (English/French) roles. Evaluate/screen profiles of candidates/applications, facilitate the testing of internal and external candidates, interview candidates with hiring parties using various interview techniques (behavioural, situational, competency, etc.), conduct professional reference checks, verify employment/qualifications and complete criminal background process for candidates. Assist in preparation of offer/contracts letters and communicate with unsuccessful candidates.
Provide WSIB information to candidates and appropriately sell candidates on the value proposition of the WSIB. Ensure a positive candidate experience when interacting with internal and external applicants, including the management of the New Hires list for the distribution of a variety of surveys.
Manage the tracking of all data/metrics associated with the recruitment process to ensure all relevant data on competitions are available for analyses. Submit reports on the recruitment activity within the WSIB, such as number of vacancies, Time-to-fill metrics, offer acceptance ratios, etc. as well as trend analyses to Talent Acquisition Consultants, management and the Executive Committee.
File management of both onsite and offsite closed recruitment competition files and management of online selection tools document library on Connex for internal candidates in compliance with Article 5.10 in the Collective Agreement.
Post-secondary education in field of Human Resources Management
1 to 2 years of recruitment coordination experience
As a precondition of employment, the WSIB will require a prospective candidate to undergo a criminal records name check prior to or at any time following hire.
