Our client in the telecom sector is seeking a Wireless Lab Cloud Specialist on a 1 year contract in Mississauga:
 
Pay rate is $40.00/hr
MUST HAVE SKILLS
Proficient in the application and safe operation of hand tools like drills, Wrench, pliers, screwdrivers, cable cutters, crimpers, tape measure, RJ45/RJ 11 crimper, Hacksaw, Grinder Step ladders, server lift and Soldering Irons.

1. Help platform owners from all teams to analyze the security VA logs to identify the critical and high risks vulnerabilities as outlined by Corp. sec and assist owners to take actions.
2. Patch critical Lab infrastructure nodes to meet Corp. sec requirement.
3. Operate the Netbox for IaaS Lab undercloud infrastructure onboarding automation – TOR and computes etc.
4. Operate TONA and Anisble tower for overcloud configuration – Tenant network configuration etc.
5. Routine lab data operation tasks – domain, firewall, vpn, router, switch, gitlab, PNF, VNF, CNF administration, automation, troubleshooting and maintenance. Coordinated with Corp. security.

Ability to work overtime on weekends public holidays or as required with a minimum of 44 hours per week

Ability to Lift 50 lbs, Bend and work at heights of 10 feet.
Ability to work with unfamiliar technology
Ability to work with or without process, a Quick learner and common sense approach to work activities
Ability to work under pressure, with multiple task coming due at once in a changing environment
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of CI/CD process, gitlab, Openstack, K8S, Ansible, hands-on experience of python coding.
Understanding TCP/IP, VLan, VxLan and IP routing and AD
Also understanding the essential mechanisms and tools to identify and categorize network security threats and network/system irregularities.
Responsibilities:
Assist lab daily operation, including server onboarding, provisioning and security patching, storage management, domain administration.
Skillset to be trained:
Netbox, Openstack, Openshift, VMware, K8S, MAAS, Ansible, Hitachi and NetApp storage, Cisco IOS-XR and NXOS, Terraform, Fortinet, Checkpoint, AlgoSec.Top skills must be seen on the resume Daily tasks: 1.
